Bluepoint Wind

Eric serves as Head of Regulatory and External Affairs at Ocean Winds North America’s Bluepoint Wind project, where he leads a team coordinating the company’s government,  community affairs and communications efforts in New Jersey and New York.  Bluepoint  Wind is an offshore wind project in the early stages of development located off the coast of  New Jersey and New York.   The External Affairs team develops and executes the political,  regulatory and community affairs strategies that support Bluepoint’s business, permitting,  and political affairs objectives.

Before moving to New Jersey in 2023, Eric served in a  number of leadership roles in New York City government affairs. Before Bluepoint, Eric led  NYC government affairs for a broadband and telecommunications provider, and prior to that, he served as General Counsel to the Mayor’s Office of City Legislative Affairs and the inaugural General Counsel/Director of Intergovernmental Affairs to the New York City Department of Veteran’s Services. 

Eric’s first jobs in government affairs were at the New York Botanical Garden and the New York City Council, working on legislative affairs and budgeting. He currently sits on the board of the New York Botanical Garden and has  served on the NYC Department of Education’s Panel for Educational Policy and the New York City Board of Education Retirement System. A lifelong resident of the Bronx, NY, Eric now lives in New Jersey with his wife and son.
