Karen Imas

Attentive Energy Two

Prior to joining TotalEnergies, Karen served as the program and policy lead at the Waterfront Alliance, where she focused on advocacy for coastal resilience policy, maritime infrastructure, and revitalization of waterfront communities. In this capacity, Karen secured legislative and budget victories across New York and New Jersey, published impactful policy reports, and organized high profile policy conferences. Karen’s expertise in government relations, public affairs, and stakeholder relations is shaped by more than 15 years in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Karen received her master’s degree in international relations at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Boston University. As the Senior External Affairs Manager at TotalEnergies for the Attentive Energy Two project, Karen supports the company’s government relations and public positioning at the local, state, and federal level, as well as manages communications for the project.
